Bordon FSC - Level 3 CSkills Diploma in Site Carpentry and Joinery
Course Content
This course is designed for those wishing to progress from the Level 2 qualification in order to further develop their knowledge and skills in wood occupations and the construction industry.  It will introduce the skills required for on-site project management.
English and Maths
If you are aged under 19 and if you do not hold a GCSE grade C or higher in English and Maths, you will be required to work towards these qualifications.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have successfully completed a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject, such as our Level 2 Site Carpentry.
Students will be assessed through ongoing practical and written assignments.
What does this course lead to?

This is a recognised route to both Site and Project Management.

It can lead to Apprenticeships in Carpentry and Joinery or to further study within the construction industry.

Equipment Required
If they do not already have it, students will be expected to purchase appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment). This can be arranged through the college and costs approximately £45.
Financial Information
If you are aged 16-18, tuition and registration fees are free.
If you are aged 19 or over, tuition and registration fees are payable at the start of each year of study; please ask for details.
If you are aged 24 or over, you may be eligible for a Student Loan to assist with your fees; please ask for details.
Fee Concessions 19 - 23
Fee concessions may be available if you are out of work, on low income or studying for your first Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. Please contact us for more information.
Staged Payment
A staged payment plan is available to help with course fees.
Travel Subsidy
We offer discounts on rail and Zone 2 buses outside of Basingstoke. There is financial assistance available for those families on a low income.
If you are unable to pay any of the course costs, or need financial assistance you may be eligible to receive a college bursary.
