Assessment

Why do I need a certificate?

Under the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, Water Companies can appoint Approved Contractors (sometimes called Approved Plumbers) for the area they cover. Holding a BPEC/WRAS Certificate should prove that your knowledge of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 is good enough for you to become an Approved Contractor. In case of employees, the certificate will provide evidence to an Approved Contractor that you have a sound knowledge of the Regulations.
