LV 2 CSKILLS DIPLOMA IN FITTED INTERIORS
Course Overview
The course includes learning about installation of kitchens, bathroom and bedrooms - all of which take place in the college.

Learners will receive instruction, guidance and encouragement to practise and develop the skills necessary to achieve the qualification.

The course covers a wide range of subjects including:

-  Carry out safe working practices in construction
-  Information, quantities and communicating with others
-  Building Methods and Construction technology
-  Installation of fitted furniture
-  Installation of basic plumbing
-  Prepare for and fit out kitchen and bedroom fitments.
Course Content

You will receive instruction, guidance and encouragement to practice and develop the necessary skills to achieve the qualification. The course covers a wide range of subjects including:

*  Carry out safe working practices in construction

*  Information, quantities and communicating with others

*  Building Methods and Construction technology

*  Installation of fitted furniture

*  Installation basic plumbing

*  Prepare for and fit out kitchen and bedroom fitments.

Employment Rights and Responsibilities online training.
English and Maths
If you are aged under 19 and if you do not hold a GCSE grade C or higher in English and Maths, you will be required to work towards these qualifications.
Entry Requirements

Four GSCEs at Grade 4 or above or successful completion of the Future Pathways course

An interview will be required.

Assessment
The course is continually assessed with testing through online multiple choice theory and practical assessments.  
What does this course lead to?
Possibly employment in the industry as a kitchen fitter, work based NVQ to gain full qualification or another Level 2 course in a variety of disciplines.
Equipment Required

PPE

Pen, paper and pencil and possibly a theory text book.

Financial Information
If you are aged 16-18, tuition and registration fees are free.
If you are aged 19 or over, tuition and registration fees are payable at the start of each year of study; please ask for details.
If you are aged 24 or over, you may be eligible for a Student Loan to assist with your fees; please ask for details.

Fee Concessions 19 - 23
Fee concessions may be available if you are out of work, on low income or studying for your first Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. Please contact us for more information.
Staged Payment
A staged payment plan is available to help with course fees.
Travel Subsidy
We offer discounts on rail and Zone 2 buses outside of Basingstoke. There is financial assistance available for those families on a low income.
Bursaries
If you are unable to pay any of the course costs, or need financial assistance you may be eligible to receive a college bursary.
