Foundation Degree in Children's Development and Learning
FOUNDATION DEGREE IN CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT & LEARNING
Course Overview
Delivered in partnership with the University of Reading.
Students spend first two years studying at BCoT one afternoon and evening per week from 1-7pm, then there is the opportunity to spend the final year at the University of Reading to 'top up' to a full BA (Hons) degree.   
Course Content

The benefits of this course include:

  • First 2 years is half the price of studying a normal degree (£4625 per year as opposed to £9000; please note the final year is costed by Reading as is subject to change)
  • Work towards a degree level qualification alongside your part-time job

Entry Requirements

GCSE English grade C and Maths Functional skills L2 or above. Applicants should also have completed a Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related subject and be working at least 0.5FT in a childcare setting.

The opportunity to spend the final year at the University of Reading to 'top up' to a full BA (Hons) degree.
Financial Information
If you are aged 19 or over, tuition and registration fees are payable at the start of each year of study.

A staged payment plan is available to help with course fees.
