Level 2 NCFE Certificate in Principles of Business Administration
Course Overview

UK employers have reported a shortage in the availability of skilled business and administration staff, and this is expected to be a continuing problem in coming years.

If you think you have what it takes to support organisations with these essential skills, this qualification will give you a thorough understanding of all aspects of a business administration role.  It is a nationally recognised qualification which could enhance your career prospects in this area.

Course Content

The course is split into seven manageable units:

Unit 1 - Principles of providing administration services

Unit 2 - Principles of business document production and information management

Unit 3 - Understand communication in a business environment

Unit 4 - Understand employer organisations

Unit 5 - Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues

Unit 6 - Understand how to carry out business administration tasks

Unit 7 - Understand how to prepare text

Please note, you will need to complete all units to achieve the full qualification.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you will find it helpful to have a good level of English and maths.

There are no exams for this course; your learning will be assessed through your written work and assignments.
