Level 4 BTEC HNC Diploma in Sport (Health, Fitness and Exercise)
Course Overview
This course is a specialist vocational programme tailored around professional requirements within the leisure industry. It provides you with an understanding of fitness training and instructing, sports nutrition and sports psychology. It's a high quality and affordable option if you want to progress or start a career in sport and leisure.
Course Content

On this course you will

  • Develop transferable skills needed to meet the changing circumstances of sport, leisure and recreation environment.

Entry Requirements

Must be aged 18 or over
Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and/or
Relevant work experience
Successful interview with course leader
GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above
For international students there is an ESOL requirement/IELTS score of 6 (minimum of 5.5 across every element).


Students are assessed through written reports, essays, presentations and the observation of work based scenarios.

What does this course lead to?

You can progress directly into employment in the sports industry or within higher education, by studying an HND, or a Bachelor's Degree.

Additional Costs
£100 for scheduled trips and £50 on uniform.
Financial Information
If you are aged 19 or over, tuition and registration fees are payable at the start of each year of study.
Staged Payment
A staged payment plan is available to help with course fees.
