Course Overview
This is a one year IGCSE course suitable for students requiring a science at GCSE level, or for those wishing to improve their GCSE Science grades. The course includes experimental skills, investigations, information handling and problem solving.

Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements but students will complete screening process in the first sessions and be advised about the suitability of the course.

The course is assessed by two examination papers, a multiple choice paper and a written paper, plus a practical test.

The practical test carries 20% of the final mark.

The examinations take place in June 2018.

What does this course lead to?
Many candidates study GCSE Science for progression in their employment, to progress to university or onto the BTEC Level 3 Diplomas in Applied Science. Please check that IGCSE Science is accepted as equivalent for your requirements.

A calculator and a course textbook which will be advised when you started the course.
